Gerasimos Antypas was born in Kefalonia Greece and he was a Greek resident of Harbin, China. He was the owner of Antypas vodka factory, and the father of Maria Antypa - Metaxa. After his death, his son in law Spyros Metaxas took over the distillery before finally immigrating to Sydney, Australia.
