Description:
Captioned "Broome Hatsuzo Murata died 1913 24 March - Theresa Murakami's stepfather's burial - standing Y. Murakami, Mary Miyo Murata stepsister" There is a headstone with Japanese writing on it. Another headstone is in background. This photograph shows Yasukichi Murakami standing by the grave of his second wife's stepfather who died in 1913. Yasukichi Murakami did not marry Shigeno Murata until 1920 so it is likely that the photograph dates from after this time. Date circa 1920s?
