Photographs taken by Allan Griffin, a soldier with the RAAF who was posted to Broome in the years following the Air Raid.
a) Allan Griffin sitting on verandah of Chinese Nationalist Party (Kuomin Tang) office and library in 1943. All buildings in Shiba Lane are disused and evacuated due to the war.
b) Buildings down Shiba Lane 1943.
c) Fong Sam Bakery on the corner Short & Carnarvon Streets.
