"Φτερό σαν να ήμουν ο άνεμος στα ξένα με έχει φέρει,
τα χέρια μου τα δυο γίναν σιδερένια και με μια μηχανή
εγώ και αυτή, έχω λες παντρευτεί εδώ μακριά από τη μάνα γη
χωρίς να ξέρω το γιατί, και ολημερίς σε ένα μαντρί
το τσιμέντο, ο ιδρώτας μου γίνεται αίμα το ποτίζει,
και εγώ ξέχασα τον αληθινό μου εαυτό,
κάτι κολάρα με γραβάτες, ξανθοί συνήθως, μου λένε διαρκώς πιο πολύ να έχω παραγωγή,
και αυτοί αρωματισμένοι λες και βγήκαν από το κουτί,
και ακόμα δεν ξέρω το γιατί,
και είμαι από εκεί, την Ελλαδίτσα τη μικρή,
που τους έδωσε τα φώτα και τη λευτεριά μαζί"

"Feather as if I were the wind abroad has borne me,
both my hands became iron and with a machine
I and she, have, as it were, married here far from mother earth
without knowing why, and all day in a corral
the cement, my sweat becomes blood it waters,
and I forgot my true self,
some collars with ties, blondes usually, they keep telling me to produce more,
and they smell like they came out of a box,
and I still don't know why,
and I'm from there; the little Greece,
who gave them light and freedom together"
