Abstract: Dimitris Kalomoiris had recorded the history of Greek communities of NSW 1850 - 1977, including demographics, the history of oyster trade by Greeks, Greek coffee shops,

Kalomoiris bought the Greek Herald newspaper from Alexandros Grivas (who was also a church chanter) c.1930. Dimitris Kalomoiris was also one of the founders of Atlas (1939).

Hellenic Historical and Cultural Centre has also in their possession collection of rare books of Dimitris Kalomoiris, donated by one of his relatives.
