Written in German, collection includes letters from Gustaf Dahmer to his wife Liselotte Dahmer (nee Schwabe) 1944-45. He was in the German army and did not survive the war. Liselotte married Bruno Mandel in 1947. The majority of the collection are letters written between 1970-1990 to Liselotte by her daughter Birgit Schreuder after Birgit, her husband Frits Schreuder and their children migrated to Western Australia in 1970.
