Abstract 
Report by Konstantin Vladimirov on the suitability of the Northern Territory region for Russian settlement, commissioned by the Minister for External Affairs Josiah Thomas. The report appears from page 10 – 86. An English translation of the report (not included in this file) was provided by the Imperial Russian Consulate in Melbourne. This file also contains correspondence written by Leandro Illin (Leandr Il´in) regarding his own report on the fertility, climate and customs of the Northern Territory, dated 21 January 1913.
