This collection contains the personal papers of Robert Sydney Helby, officer with the Australasian United Steam Navigation Company and the Orient Steam Navigation Company, c. 1906-1912. The material includes received correspondence (from family, Arthur Drysdale, Orient Steam Navigation Company, New South Wales Department of Navigation and the Royal Naval Registrar), a copy of a letter sent by Helby to his father, a letter in Welsh from T. J. Williams to Mr Rowland, a bank deposit book (1906-1909) and tailor receipts (1909-1910).
