Description from source
This series comprises three copies of a "Report concerning the results of the consultations on acoustical matters related to Jørn Utzon's interior design of the Sydney Opera House". The report was based on consultations between Utzon and Professors Lothar Cremer and W. Gabler, of the Technical University, Berlin. The author is Joachim Nutsch. This report was issued after Utzon's resignation and the subsequent retirement of the consultants from the Sydney Opera House construction project in the feeling that "their own and Mr Nutsch's work for the Sydney Opera House holds many points and results which could be of general importance to similar buildings". One copy, written in German, has original photographs. The second copy, in English, is a re-typed copy of the first, with no original photographs. Copy C is in English and contains a forwarding note from Mr P. Taylor, Project Officer, Sydney Opera House. (4/7897 A-C). 3 copies.
