Folder 2 contains Melbourner Deutscher Krankenverein minutes of meetings 1880-1893.
Folder 3 contains Melbourner Deutscher Krankenverein Protocol und Berichte (1861-1880).
Folder 4 contains Melbourner Deutscher Krankenverein Protocol und Berichte (1861-1880). The material is all written in German with the exception of the published history in folder 1.
Originally founded, under the name of Melbourner Deutscher Krankenverein, to help Germans in need. The meetings were held at various locations in the Melbourne CBD. The organisation has also been known as the Melbourne German Sick & Relief Society. These records were given to Leonard Cox by the last Secretary when the Verein merged with IOOF in the 1960s.
