A collection of documents pertaining to Sonia Revid, modern interpretative dancer. Included in the collection are: birth certificate (extract in Russian); a diploma and reference from the Mary Wigman of the Wigman-Schule in Dresden, Germany, 1928 (in German); a certificate of naturalization from the Commonwealth of Australia, 1937; a collection of loose newspaper clippings; a copy of her pamphlet "Do slum children distinguish light from dark?"; a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, recital programmes and flyers, one essay entitled "Australia - The country of the future" written by Sonia Revid, and her obituary (not dated); a collection of 49 portrait and postcard photographs, the majority being of Sonia Revid and some of Mary Wigman and her dance teams; two negatives of Sonia Revid photographs; and three letters dated 1967, two from Keith Glennon of Vaucluse, NSW, to Mrs. Ribush of Caufield, Victoria, Sonia Revid's sister, and one in reply from her. These are in relation to a request for further career information about Sonia.
