Three exercise books containing journal entries and text written in Greek by Peter Veneris, who was originally from Kythera in Greece. The journals were written in various locations in Queensland and are dated 1944, 1945 and 1952. The 1944 volume contains entries written in Townsville, the 1952 volume is titled has 'Murgon' written on the cover. After the war he spent time working in a number of Queensland towns before eventually settling in Biloela where he ran a drapery business. There is a park named after him in Biloela.
