Abstract
-
Series include letters from and to Denis George while he resided at the Thursday island. Letters are in Greek and English and the recipients are in Japan.
Greek letters include correspondence between the Greek council (mr Papadopoulos) in Τοkyo and Denis George. Parts of two pages of the letters seem to be covered - however there is an assistance request from the part of Denis George. He explains he has done with research in Japanese pearling throughout books and museums, and he is astonished such an art has been developed to a real science. He specifically requests he is put in contact with Greeks in Japan, a much desired communication he would fully fund financially.
