Height: 400 mm, Width: 255 mm, Letter, carbon copy, M Guillaux's Bleriot aircraft, paper, E de Baillou, Australia, 1916, Author of letter and General manager of Compagnie des Messageries Maritimes.
On sheet of yellow tissue paper folded to form four sections, a 'blotter' copy of a letter to M Guillaux(?) . Handwritten in ink in French by Mr E de Baillou. Dated 7 February 1916. This letter appears, amongst other things, to advise of the remittance of two hundred and fifty six pounds, eight shillings drawn on a London bank as the balance of monies owing on the sale of the Bleriot aircraft after deducting charges for storage and handling. The Bleriot was sold to R Graham Carey at Ballarat for three hundred and seventy five pounds.
