The album includes photographs of the voyage on the SS Greifswald to Australia and of Fremantle and the German consul and his family. It includes images of the military camp at Fremantle (first place of detention), the State Hostel on Rottnest Island, the internees daily and social life, Aboriginal residents on Rottnest Island and camps at Trial Bay, Holsworthy and Liverpool.
