Administrative / Biographical history
Romanian-born of Greek parents, Antigone Kefala has lived in Australia since 1980. She has worked as an arts administrator, a teacher of English as a second language and is a prominent commentator on Australian multicultural writing. Since 1973 she has published six books of poetry and several novels. She is widely represented in Australian anthologies.

Extensive collection of correspondence with her good friends Vaso and Leonidas Kalamaras, Perth, WA; invitations to Leonidas' exhibitions, and letters. Their letters reflect a beautiful friendship. Collection include correspondence (1978-2000) with Dimitris Tsaloumas including early manuscripts of the son of Kyr Saki (Ο γιος του κυρ Σάκη - Ρωμαϊκό παραμύθι για προχωρημένα παιδιά).
